A bilateral agreement regarding education was signed on March 11, 2011 between Daffodil International University and Rex Black Consulting at a side meeting of the General Assembly of International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) held in Prag, the Republic of Czechoslovalkia. Mr. Muhammed Emran Hossain, Deputy Registrar, Daffodil International University and Mr. Rex Black, Managing Director of Rex Black Consulting  signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Through this agreement the students of Computer Science and Engineering & Software Engineering of Daffodil International University will get the opportunity to use the course materials of ‘Software Quality and Testing’. More over, after completing the courses just through examination the students of Daffodil International University will get the opportunity to be a world class “Certified Software Testing Engineer”. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, General Secretary, Bangladesh Software Testing Qualification Board and Executive Director, Daffodil Institute of IT was also present during the agreement signing ceremony.

Representatives from more than fifty countries including Bangladesh, India, USA, UK and Germany attended the conference. It may be mentioned here that International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) is playing an important role in developing the quality of Software and preparing world class “Certified Software Testing Engineer” for a long time.
