Mr. Anisul Islam Mahmud, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change said that after having a child a man next dream for a beautiful dwelling place and this is the constitutional right of every citizen in Bangladesh. The present government is working tirelessly to ensure housing for its every citizen. He also said we will have to ensure a dwelling place for every citizen saving our cultivable land ensuring food security. In this regard, we must have to keep in mind the restoration of the environment. He told these while addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of DIU Real Estate Career Expo 2018 today on July 19, 2018 held at Daffodil International University.

Daffodil International University in association with Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) organized this ‘DIU Career Expo 2018. Presided over by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU, Mr. Alamgir Shamsul Alamin, President of REHAB was present at the program as the special guest while Dr. Toufiq M. Seraj presented the keynote paper on ‘contribution of Real Estate in Economy of Bangladesh’. The program was also addressed by Professor Dr. S M Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business & Economics, Mr. Nurul Mohammad Zayed, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Real Estate, Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director of Career Development Center (CDC) of DIU, Mr. Mumtazul Karim, Managing Director of TOKEYO and other high officials of various real estate companies. Mr. Anisul Islam Mahmud also distributed certificate among winner students of the competition titled ‘Business Proposal Competition’ on the program.

To create awareness of career prospect in Real Estate sector among students and build up a linkage between industry and academy, Real Estate Department organized the seminar.

More than 20 country renowned real estate companies ware attend this expo through stall. Beside this, high officials of country’s renowned real estate companies joined a round table discussion on challenges and future opportunities of real estate sector.
