DIU signed a partnership agreement with a leading university in Indonesia, Universitas Airlangga.
The MOU was signed in presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, Honorable Rector, UNAIR and Prof Dr. S M Mahbubul Haque Mazumder, Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor of DIU at the Rectors office of UNAIR in Surabaya, Indonesia on 2 July, 2019. Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam, Assistant Director of International Affairs of DIU and Airlangga Global Education (AGE) representatives were present in the MOU signing program. The attendees discussed a number of possible cooperation programs between DIU and UNAIR at the meeting.
Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is the the second-oldest university in Indonesia. The MoU will strengthen the cooperation between DIU and UNAIR focusing on several faculties namely the Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty Science and Technology.
It is worth to mention that 7 UNAIR students are coming to Bangladesh to participate in the International Social Business Summer Program 2019 organized by DIU that is first summer school of its kind.
