The ASEF Capacity Building Training brought together 23 intellectual group of participants (Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Faculty Members, Researcher, Policy Makers) from 19 countries where they share experience, knowledge and action plans to address equitable access and success in Higher Education. Md. Fahad Bin Zamal, Assistant Professor & Associate Head (In Charge), Software Engineering Department was the only full funded scholarship holder participant from Bangladesh invited and selected for the event to leader, share & develop knowledge about equity, access and success, understand the global trends and practices. It helped him to establish professional network, stimulated new ideas and action plan which he may able to implement in Daffodil International University.

The event is co-organized by Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), the National Education Opportunities Network UK (NEON), and The University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. It focuses on encouraging governments, universities and others to make meaningful commitments that will lead to greater equity in access and participation in higher education to comply with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
