Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman  & Board of Trustees  of Daffodil international University hands over the championship  crest to the winning team members of “Craftiques”.   

The final round on campus competition of the Hult Prize popularly known as student’s Nobel Prize worldwide was held for the 2nd time at Daffodil International University on 8thDecember, 2018. In the final round The Team “Craftiques” won the Final of On Campus Hult Prize at Daffodil International University. First Runner up is “Aspire” and Second Runner Up is “ Swadhin Nari”. Based on different criteria’s of evaluation Daffodil International University is the number one in the world this year among 1200+ universities and the total number of registered participants  were 580. So, winning three teams will get opportunity to compete in different regional finals and the Team Craftique will be flying to Singapore to compete in the Regional Final on March, 2019. First Runner up team “Aspire” will be flying to Malaysia and Second Runner Up team “ Swadhin Nari” will compete in regional finals in Mumbai to represent Bangladesh for the final Hult Prize at United National , New York in September 2019.
Around 1,00,000 students from 40 countries will get the opportunity  to attend the final round to be organized by United Nation Global  Clinton Initiative and Hult  International Business School  with the  vision of ‘youth  employment : create 10,000  meaningful jobs for young people within 2018’ The winning team will be awarded the $1,000,000 prize.
In the final completion there were three jury comprises  of Bijon Islam, CEO & Co-Founder Lightcastle Partners, Nashid Ali, Founder & CEO CloudCreative Limited and Tanjim Ferdous, National Consultant, Innovation & Campaign Management, UN Capital Development Fund. In the final competition there were six teams: Seeds of Energy, Aspire, Sotej, Bunon, Swadhin Nari and craftiques. After a strong fight three became winners, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman  & Board of Trustees  of Daffodil international University handed over the championship  crest to the winning team members of “Craftiques”.

Hult is the world’s largest student movement for the creation of new social enterprises. The winner of the intra-campus event will advance to one of fifteen regional finals happening around the worlds. One winning team from each host city then moves onto a summer business accelerator, where participants will receive mentorship, advice and guidance as they create prototypes and get ready to launch their new social business.
