‘New Minds for New World’, with this motto DIU is hosting its 3rd International Social Business Summer Program (ISBSP) 2019 at the Permanent campus from 12 to 22 July 2019 where 50 Participants from 11 different countries from around the world are now attending learn about Social Business. Prof Dr Jahangir Alam, Chowdhary, Professor, University of Dhaka & Khadiza Rahman Tanchi, Senior Lecturer, DIU conducted session on Managing Social Business on its 4th day. Apart from this, Dr. M. Saiful Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka conducted a session on Social Business & SDGs: Bangladesh Experiences for the participants.
Not only lectures and class works, participants were divided into groups to explore local areas and also the capital city Dhaka to find out social problems & turn into in social business ideas for the development. The 10 days long summer program will continue till 22 July with loads of cross-cultural learning activities among the participants from China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Somalia, South Korea, and Bangladesh. #ISBSP2019
