DIU Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan honored as Guest Professor at Changchun University of Finance and Economics in China

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) along with Li Shufeng, President of Changchun University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) at 30th anniversary ceremony of the CUFE establishment and the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) forum held in CUFE in China.

 

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan Founder and Chairman, Daffodil International University (DIU) has been honored as the Guest Professor for his great contribution to development of academic relations between DIU & Changchun University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), the university which is dedicated to producing  economists, scientists, researchers, professionals and future leaders in this region. The recognition was conferred by Li Shufeng, Honorable President, CUFE, Changchun, China upon Mr. Khan amidst a good number of audience and delegation on the 15th of September 2018 during the 30th anniversary ceremony of the CUFE establishment and the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) forum held in CUFE.

This achievement signifies that DIU is flourishing in the international arena through various activities, including student exchange, global impact, research, foreign representation, among others. Mr. Khan was invited to participate the 30th anniversary of CUFE. As the only Bangladeshi, he also addressed more than 500 foreign delegates and represented DIU and the nation. Upon his speech, the board of CUFE honored Mr. Khan with this academic title.

With its motto “to stress both knowledge acquisition and moral cultivation, to strive unceasingly”, CUFE, in a survey, ranked 5th among independent colleges throughout China;, ranked 1st among independent colleges in Jilin Province; and also ranked 1st among financial and economic universities throughout China.
