MdAhnaf Anam Khan, student of Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Daffodil International University attended in a Summer Program in Indonesia with the theme “Exploring and Escalating Local Chocolate in the Heart of Javanese Culture” on 8-19 July, 2019. The program was organized by Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta ( UAJY ), Indonesia in collaboration with Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta and Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Under the bilateral agreement between DIU and UAJY, Ahnaf received full weaver on the program registration fee worth USD 400 which covers accommodation, meals, and local transportation during the program.

This Summer program aims to provide not only international experience but also opportunity for students to explore the potential of local chocolate, gain knowledge and apply their ideas in the product development, as well as learn about branding and marketing strategy to introduce the product internationally. The program includes lecture from experts, observation to the chocolate plantation and local industry, workshops, project presentation, and exhibition.
