Nusrat Jahan Rysa of Arced Foundation won the national level championship beating 11 other competitors at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University in Dhaka.

Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuyan, chairman of National Board of Revenue was present during the occasion as the chief guest, a press release from the university said. Dr Md. Sabur Khan, chairman of Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University presided over the program. The Judges Panel comprised with Md Shafiqul Islam, managing director of SME Foundation, Tina Jabeen, investment advisor of ICT Division’s Startup Bangladesh, , Wali-ul-Maroof Matin, founder and managing director of Maslin Capital, Quazi M Ahmed, lead consultant and CEO of Future Leaders, Golam Monowar Kamal, managing director of Bangladesh Venture Capital Ltd.

The finalist teams were from Jahangirnagar University (JU), Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), BRAC University (BRACU), North South University (NSU), United International University (UIU), Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), University of Development Alternative (UODA), The Technical University of Applied Science, Germany and Daffodil International University (DIU).

Daffodil International University is the national host of this international competition known as the Olympic for start-ups. This is for the second time that ‘Get in the Ring’ competition was organised by Daffodil International University. Earlier in 2015, Daffodil International University organised this competition for the first time in the country.
