Seminar on ‘National Budget: An Evaluation’ organized by the Department of Business Administration of Daffodil International University was held today on 16 July 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of the university. Mr. Khondokar Ibrahim Khaled, Former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present at the program as the chief guest. Presided over by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University the seminar was also addressed by Dr. Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Mr. Anwar Faruq Talukder, Executive Vice President of Shimanto Bank Ltd. and Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, DIU as special guest.

While addressing on the seminar Mr. Khondokar Ibrahim Khaled said, budget of the year of 2018-19 is a routine budget. There is no novelty in this budget except wideness of size. He feels doubt that this budget may be tough for being implementation. He said, firstly we have not strong institution, secondly the boundless corruption and thirdly we have no skilled human rouses that because the implementation of budget would be tough.
