11 students of Daffodil International University (DIU) left for Korea to join a three week credit-based program offering innovative prospect of Asia titled Asian Summer Program (ASP) 2013 under Dongseo Asian Initiative Program supervised by Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam recently. In the first phase 4 students left for Korea on July 03, 2013. After the long tireless effort of the authority another seven students got their visa and finally they also flown to Korea.
The program named Asian Summer Program (ASP) is a three week credit-based program offering innovative prospect of Asia. It is designed to provide an International Training in Korea for the students, with the aim of building Cross-culture communication, Personal soft skill development, Confidence building, Career enhancement as well as mutual friendship among the participating countries. Students will have the chance to adjust these two courses which are going to obtain at Korea with their regular courses. There will be 350 students from 25 universities in 10 different countries in this program. The Program starts at July 8, 2013 at the very beautiful location of Busan, Korea. Participating students will experience a highly international environment, allowing them to learn directly about the diverse cultures of Asia. Students will have the chance to adjust these courses with their regular courses.
To become more attractive for foreign students and researchers and to increase its appeal as a world centre for excellence, DIU has joined its name in great initiative named “Dongseo Asian Initiative Program” taken by the Dongseo University, Korea.
