Under the Purview of Private University Act-2010, the 6^th Syndicate Meeting of Daffodil International University was held on March 30, 2013 at the University Board Room. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Syndicate & Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman. Mr. Md. Rafiquzzaman, Joint Secretary (Audit & Law), Ministry of Education who was nominated by the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Prof. Dr. M. M. Sahidul Hassan of BUET who was nominated by University Grants Commission (UGC) as external members of DIU Syndicate were present in the meeting. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, attended the Syndicate Meeting in response to a special invitation by Chairman of Syndicate.

Among other members, Professor Dr. M. Mizanur Rahman, Treasurer, Professor Dr. S.M. Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science & IT, Professor Rafiqul Islam,Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar, DIU, Mr. Md. Emran Hossain, Member, Board of Trustees and Mr. Md. Khurshed Alam, Member, Board of Trustees were present.

Prof. Dr. Golam Maowla Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance & Accounts) of Daffodil International University was also present on special invitation of Chairman of Syndicate.
