3-day Art Exhibition on ‘The untold stories about the Rohingyas’ began at Drik Gallery in the capital organized by Nirmegh Foundation and Art for Cause on July 13, 2018. A team comprised of 25 artists, photographers and graphic designers of different English medium schools of the capital has expressed their emotions and hardship of the Rohingyas with the strokes of their color and creativeness.
Adv. Dhrindra Debnath Shambhu MP, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Bangladeshi Parliament on the Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management inaugurated the exhibition yesterday on yesterday on July 13, 2018 as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. M. Golam Rahman, Former Chief Information Commissioner and Faculty of Department of Journalism and Maas Communication of Daffodil International University while Contry’s renowned Sculpture Mrinal Haque and Professor Mustafizul Haque of Fine Arts OF University of Dhaka was present as the special guests, Thje function was also addressed by Md. Shadab Naveed, President, Zarin Subha Rodela, Secretary of of Art for Cause and Fahira Safa Khan, Founder of Nirmegh Foundation. Daffodil International University proudly boasts as the title sponsor of this event and Nirmegh Foundation is the strategic partner of the event.
A total of 40 art works by 25 artists, photographers and graphic designers of different English medium schools of the capital took place in the exhibition where they have expressed the emotions and hardship of the Rohingyas with the strokes of their color and creativeness.
