The Department of Public Health organized a program entitled ‘Exit Interaction with Foreign Students’, at the Conference Room of Daffodil Tower, DIU on 14 September, 2018. Dr. Harun-Ar-Rashid, Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health convened the program. Seventeen (17) foreign students of the 17th batch and all the faculty members of the Department attended the program. The program was organized with an objective to discuss the experiences of the foreign students during their participation in the MPH program.
Students shared their experiences not only related to education, but also to their stay in Dhaka city. They expressed their gratitude to the faculty members for quality teaching and support for their Thesis work. At the same time, they have put forward few suggestions regarding their accommodation. They requested the Department to organize more workshops on research methodology, nutrition and management related topics. The outgoing students expressed their sincere interest to represent the Department in their own country. Professor Dr. Harun-Ar-Rashid concluded by assuring continuous support & communication for further study as well as professional development of the foreign students. Dr. ABM Alauddin Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health coordinated the program.
