Faculty of Business and Economics of Daffodil International University hold its first reunion of passing out graduates with great enthusiasm and day long gala events today on September 28, 2013 at DIU Auditorium. With spontaneous participation of Passing out graduates, faculty members and officers the program turned into a festive mood.

Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Chairman, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) was present in the program as the chief guest. Founder, Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor of Daffodil International University Dr. Aminul Islam inaugurated the program. Presided over by Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head, BBA Program and Convener, the function was addressed by Prof. Dr. M. Mizanur Rahman, Treasurer, Prof. Dr.M Zakir Hossain, Director (Studies), Prof. Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. S.M. Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, PROFESSOR Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar and Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Mr. Manjurul Alam Jewel, President, DIU Alumni Association & Head, HR, Eastern Bank, Md. Nazrul Islam Helali, Chairman, Golden Trade International BD.

Addressing as the chief guest Mr. Md. Sabur Khan said, Alumni are the ambassador and identity of the university. Alumni can bring all the graduates under one community and network graduates will act as a strong platform through which junior students would be benefited and establish Unity, Compassion and Brotherhood among the graduates in a ground full of assistance and cooperation.

He said, Daffodil International University is always pioneer to introduce new course curricular like Art of Living for preparing competent graduates for job market. He also informed that the university is going to introduce extra ordinary course “Entrepreneurship and Leadership of BBA” for the first time in Bangladesh.

5000 Graduates from Daffodil International University are working in their professional life and many of them holding important positions in a diverse category of organizations; many are pursuing their career abroad, he added.
