To ensure secured and risk free quality higher education for the students of Daffodil International University (DIU), Guardians of DIU have brought under   the scheme of Pragati Life Insurance Ltd.  providing Group Life Insurance & supplementary Accidental Death Benefit.  In this regard Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pragati Life Insurance Ltd. on November 22, 2018 at Chillis Banquet Hall, Dhanmondi in the capital. Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, Daffodil International University and Mr. Md. Jalalul Azim, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pragati Life Insurance Limited signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mr. Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance & Accounts), Mr. Mohamed Emran Hossain, Director (Administration), Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director (Students Affair), Dr. Md. Milan Khan, Librarian, Mr. Emran Hossain, Joint Director (Finance & Accounts), Mr. Sabbir Ahmed Polash, Joint Director ( P&D) and Mr. Nadir Bin Ali, Joint Director (IT) of Daffodil International University.

Mr. Md. Rafiqul Alam Bhuyan, Deputy Managing Director and Mr. Md. Sayed Hasan, Senior AGM of Pragati Life Insurance Limited were present at the MoU signing ceremony.

Under this agreement all the guardians of the students of Daffodil International University will be brought under risk coverage (Death Benefit, Survival Benefit and Supplementary coverage through Group Life Insurance. As a result , any circumstances of sudden death or accident of any guardian, the education life of any student will not be an end.
