A seminar titled “Applied Research Methods and Research Directions” was held today May 16, 2013 at Conference Room of Daffodil International University. Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present in the seminar as the chief guest. Outstanding research scholar Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain from University of Northumbria, UK who is currently visiting Bangladesh presented the keynote paper in the seminar. The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. M. Golam Maowla Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Prof. Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Head, Department of CSE, Prof. Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque, Department of Natural Sciences and a large number of faculty members and students of different departments attended the seminar.
Addressing the seminar Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman said, University is the top place for conducting Research works and he urged the faculty members to develop creative and innovative ideas and contribute positively in research oriented works and also to help the young in redearch works.
While presenting keynote paper Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain pointed out the scopes and opportunities of research works in home and abroad in different sectors based on the latest developments of ICT.
