Daffodil International University(DIU) is continuing knowledge engagement activities for creating knowledge with impact. Following the vision, Office of the International Affairs hosted a webinar on the ‘Bioassay Technique of Plant Extract’ in cooperation with the Department Of Pharmacy, DIU on November 02, 2020.
Joseph Mari B. Querequencia, RPH, MSPharm, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy, San Pedro College, Philippines has been the resource person of the session on Bioassay types, conditions and principles.
The webinar started with the welcome speech by Syed Raihan- Ul- Islam, Asst. Director, International Affairs & Dr. Sharifa Sultana, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy.
Mr. Joseph Mari B. Querequencia has shared his ideas on biochemical parameters, methods of pathophysiological condition of test animals, and more relative aspects. Around a hundred students & faculties from Bangladesh & Philippines joined the program and took part in an interactive Q/A session. The program was moderated by Kazi Mesbah Ur Rahman, Officer, International Affairs.
At the end of the program Professor Dr. Muniruddin Ahamed, Head Dept. of Pharmacy, DIU delivered the closing remark and recapped the ground in both countries’ perspective.
