Professor Dr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque Director, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DIU presented the key paper at the webinar on “Excellence in Higher Education system: Role of Rankings & Benchmarking” organized by Assam Down Town University, India on 21 January 2021. He has been invited to this international webinar as ‘Resource Person’. In this webinar, about fifty participants of different streams like students, teachers and staff were attended. Director, IQAC, DIU has addressed contemporary issues relating to the diverse activities of quality assurance unit (QAU) and how it dents effect in university ranking.
Director, IQAC, DIU has also encouraged questions from the audience after the end of his presentation. Besides, distinguished panelists have also exchanged and received views on some best practices regarding IQAC and ranking, which made the session a fruitful one.. The session was organized as a part of a Virtual exchange program between both universities where the IQAC and International Affairs wing were involved, from DIU part.
