Daffodil International University jointly with UNFPA observed “International Women’s Day 2011” at univrsity campus on 8th March, 2011. The slogan of this year is “Equal access to education, training and science & technology: Pathway to decent work for women”.
Ms. Yuki Suehiro, UNFPA Deputy Representative in Bangladesh graced the occasion as the chief guest while renowned artist and women leader Ms. Sara Zaker, Managing Director, ASIATIC graced the occasion as the special guest.
Mr. Noor Mohammad, Assistant Country Representative, UNFPA inaugurated the Rally. A seminar was organized based on the theme of this year’s slogan
