A group of 6 students and 2 faculty members from the Department of Pharmacy, DIU successfully completed the one-week “Faculty and Student Exchange Program” hosted by Assam down town University, India , from November 6 to 12, 2022. During their brief stay, they analyzed their broad knowledge of diverse educational systems and practices gathered at AdtU. They participated in a variety of academic, cross-cultural, and research activities, such as visiting lab facilities and attending classes on Pharmacognosy, Physical Pharmaceutics, and Inorganic Pharmaceutics which were connected to their teaching specialties.

Since beginning the program, faculty and students have explored the AdtU campus, participated in cultural excursions, visited historical institutions such as Kalaskhetro, a traditional museum, and visited a garden near Guwahati, among other things. The crew also stayed at a resort along the Brahmaputra River.
